Teams masterclass with the National Space Centre

A group of year 8 students took part in a masterclass with the National Space Centre via Teams in school this week. Students had an introduction to life on Mars, considered facts such as the size of the planet and distance from Earth, and of course the very topical Mars Perseverance Rover. Learning was then focused around the Mars sample return mission, thinking about how rock samples from Mars could be analysed in laboratories. They even had a go at some analysis themselves, using great observational skills and testing pH! Well done year 8 and thank you to the National Space Centre.
