New Student Library Assistants Take Up Roles

20 students from across years 7 to 10 have recently taken up their new roles as assistants in the library. The students underwent a rigorous selection process which started all the way back in the autumn, including applications and interviews, and received training in the library in January. Their roles include helping other students find new books to read, issuing and returning items at the desk, and creating new displays and activities to make the library an exciting place to be.

There are some big events coming up in the library, including World Book Day and the Reading Rampage challenge for years 7 and 8. We’re looking forward to seeing what our new student library assistants achieve over the rest of the year.
