Year 10 GCSE Citizenship Leicester Crown Court Trip’s

Three groups of Year 10 GCSE Citizenship students have visited Leicester Crown Court this half term. Students met the residential Judge at the Leicester Crown Court and asked them some prepared questions, whilst also being part of the public gallery and observing various criminal court cases. Students have had the opportunity to build on their understanding of the various roles within the legal system during their visit and have analysed how the criminal justice system in the UK operates in more detail.
